Comment : Obtained from seaweed. Used in caramel products, flavored milk, thickened cream and yoghurt. In small amounts Absent adverse reactions. Large quantities can inhibit the absorption of some nutrients.

Warning : Can lower blood cholesterol.

Comment : Prepared from certain acacia. Used in lollipops and more. sucking candies, spices, some flour products, sauces, fruit juices, often decaf chocolate substitutes. Can lower blood cholesterol.

Name : sorbitol

Warning : Laxative effect!

Comment : Sweetener which is prepared by a synthetic route from glucose or fruit. Used in sucking sweets, dried fruits, confectionery, sweets, low calorie foods, medicinal syrups, drops, and is one of the most commonly used preservatives in cosmetics. Can cause digestive disorders.
